Are you Civic-minded? Think again.

Volkswagen has recently introduced the People First Warranty. It’s the best and longest warranty of its kind, offering six years or 72,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage. Not just a powertrain warranty. Not just a battery warranty. The new VW warranty is a bumper-to-bumper warranty (and, yes, it does include the powertrain too). It’s longer in years and mileage than any of its competitors, including Honda.

Speaking of its competitors – the Civic.

The new 2018 Jetta actually has a lower MSRP than a comparable Honda Civic. Which means it’ll have a lower sale price too.

As far as engine power is concerned, the Civic loses with regard to power and performance compared to the Jetta. The Honda Civic comes creates 138 ft-lbs or torque versus the Jetta’s impressive 184 ft-lbs of torque. And if you’re not sure what all those numbers mean, the higher the number, the better the vehicle will perform.

Both the Jetta and Civic have awesome entertainment systems but the base model Jetta comes standard with many other features that will keep your inner audiophile grinning from ear to ear. You’d be shelling out hundreds of dollars more to add in a CD player and auxiliary port to the Honda Civic. The Jetta has more space for your backseat passengers and more cargo space, too.

Volks, then wagen. People, then car. That’s the Volkswagen philosophy.
