The new 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is arriving at dealerships near you right now! New features of the 2022 model include new LED headlamps, an updated grille and bumpers and new wheel designs for a more modern appearance that aligns with its bigger siblings, the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. A couple of new colors are now offered, too: Oryx White and Kings Red. The Tiguan nameplate now lives centered on the liftgate giving it a more premium appearance. The steering wheel has also been restyled and now has available touch-sensitive controls. Additionally, heated seats and an Audi-inspired digital cockpit are included as standard equipment. Driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and Travel Assist are also now included on all trim levels except the base model (S). A gorgeous panoramic sunroof is available on the SE as an upgrade.

The engine remains the same - a turbocharged 4 cyl. with 184 horsepower, with an EPA estimated 23 mpg city / 30 mpg hwy. There’s still plenty of cargo space and optional equipment upgrades available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on all models along with push button start. Car-Net® is also standard on all VW models and includes remote accessibility and a Wi-Fi hotspot. As additional value, two years of scheduled maintenance are also included.
