The 2021 World Car of the Year

"The buzz surrounding the all-new ID.4 has not only been positive, it’s been downright electric."

It's the smart, beautiful, fast-charging EV you've been waiting for - at a price you can afford. Loaded with the newest technology including a 12" Touchscreen, Intuitive start, premium audio and wireless connectivity, the new ID.4 is not your average electric vehicle. The ID.Light, an innovative new communication technology, uses glowing visual and acoustic cues to inform the driver of incoming calls, brake warnings, charge status and more. App-Connect seamlessly integrates your device's applications and wireless charging means no tangled cords. VW's Car-Net® is included for 5 years. This brings the power of remote access to the palm of your hand by connecting your vehicle to your mobile device, allowing you to check on and control your vehicle remotely. IQ.Drive

The new ID.4 comes with a suite of Driver Assitance Features to make your commute safer and more convenient. IQ Drive includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. Plus autonomous, intelligent features like Travel Assist and Emergency Assist. Adaptive Cruise Control is also a helpful feature with its ability to slow down or speed up to maintain a safe following distance to the vehicle ahead of you. It also has the ability to stop, if the vehicle ahead of you brakes hard. It will adjust your speed automatically, so you don't have to.

What is Volkswagen Travel Assist?

Using both the adaptive cruise control and the lane-keeping assistance system, vehicles equipped with Travel Assist help drivers keep a Volkswagen centered in its lane and following traffic ahead at a safe distance, autonomously. Travel Assist works up to 95MPH, as long as the driver's hands are on the wheel.

What is Volkswagen Emergency Assist?

If the driver appears to be unresponsive or potentially intoxicated, VW's Emergency Assist System takes over. The vehicle will automatically activate the hazard flashers and will initiate braking to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.
